Mrs. Lauren's Conduct Plan
In order for every child to have the best opportunity to learn in a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment, all students are expected to follow our classroom rules. Our goal as a class is to follow the rules and understand that these basic rules help them build positive, respectful relationships with children and adults in our school community.
Our class rules:
1. Raise your hand for permission to speak.
2. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
3. Listen when others are talking.
4. Work and play in a safe manner.
5. Respect others.
Conduct:
At the start of each day, all students begin on “S” (Ready to Learn). If they make good choices above and beyond what is expected they will have the opportunity to clip UP. If they make choices that aren’t the best they will be asked to clip down. Students will have the opportunity to clip back up with good behaviors.
S (Great Behavior, smiley face in agenda) 0 TRACK points
Warning (still gets “S” for conduct grade) 0 TRACK points
S- (note in binder) 1 TRACK point
N (note in binder) 2 TRACK points
U (note in binder and phone call) 3 TRACK points
If a student receives an office referral, the parent/guardian will be contacted, he/she will receive a U in conduct, and the student will not be able to participate in TRACK.
Each day, students who end the day on “Ready to Learn” (S) will receive a smiley face in their agenda book. If a student clips down, you will see a note in his/her agenda book explaining what happened.
Students can receive individual rewards for good conduct:
*stickers *happy notes *individual treats *verbal praise
*positive phone call *treasure chest on Friday for all S’s for the week
Consequences:
*verbal warning *time out *silent lunch *note home *phone call
*loss of TRACK privileges
*Please initial the agenda daily so I know that you have seen your child’s behavior for the day. If I have written something in the box, please discuss with your child what would have been a better alternative to the way he/she behaved. Please remember to praise your child for all good days! :)
